The 4th of July

Since my parents were in town for the 4th and they didn't really have the desire to spend the day on the boat they graciously kept Fisher for us.  They even took him on a little day trip over to Cedar Key, Fl. to check it out.  My mom has a sweet friend who is over 90 years old that she visits regularly and she was telling my mom all about how she used to vacation to Cedar Key.  Since it is only an hour from our house my mom and dad went to check it out and took pictures to show my moms friend.  Fisher was easy going and enjoyed the special attention from MaMa and Big Daddy.  Below is a picture of them on the beach at Cedar Key.
My parents got home from there trip before we did and my dad and Fisher had some tool tickle time before he went off to bed.  It is so easy to get Fisher to crack up - he has the best laugh!

While my parents had Fisher the rest of us went scalloping to continue our fourth of July tradition.  Every fourth of July for the past four years we have gone scalloping as a family and I always love every minute of it!  Scalloping is definitely one of my favorite things to do as a family.  We had a great time and I love that we can build these special memories with the kids!

Grants brother Todd and his family went with us with there three sweet girls who are around the age of our kids.  I love this picture of all the girls looking out on the water.
