Soccer Star!

Last Saturday was Shelbie's first soccer game and she was so excited! She got her own team t-shirt and picked out number 5 cause she is five she said. Her team practiced for about 20 minutes and then played a game. I tell you what miss Shelbie never complained, she kept trying, and she stayed focused. She scored one goal, blocked a few kicks, and had one assist for a goal. She even had us laughing at one point cause her team would take turns protecting the goal from the other team and when it was Shelbie's turn she was so serious. She would bend down and move her legs from side to side watching the ball and waiting for it to come near her so she could try and kick it away. Most of the time she did kick it away. Her coach came up to her after the game and told her how good she did and she was just beaming. Below are a few pictures of her practicing before the game started.
