"Adventure at Last"

Grant has been working really long hours the past two weeks on one of the houses that we own. He finally got the job done that he was working on this afternoon and we went to Troy Springs with two other families. The water was very "refreshing" and everyone got in and swam except for precious Coral who I thought was to young to go in the freezing water. Miles and Shelbie had a blast and Miles got a lot of practice with his somewhat new goggles, snorkel, and fins just his size. Grant would dive down and Miles would watch him from the surface with his snorkel. Grant is definitely getting the kids ready to be his diving side kicks. Grant found three separate turtles that the kids loved looking at up close.
Below you can see Miles and Shelbie gathered around Grant. Notice Shelbie had to wear these goggles that are adult size and way to big for her, but in Shelbie style there was no telling her that she couldn't have goggles like Miles. Somethings just aren't worth fighting.
To end the trip in true Cooper style we got a flat tire on the way home, and in true Grant Cooper style he wanted me to change it so that I could get "practice". I didn't mind and yes I changed it perfectly with only a few questions. Grant held Miles' hand and let him watch some of the tire changing. When we got back on the road again these were Miles' words, "Adventure at last!" Miles cracks me up with the things that he comes up with, but he really does know how to sum up a day!

Hey stacie!! So glad you came by my blog... your kids are adorable. It's been really fun catching up through blogs with you and Tillia.. To think you both have kids that I've never even met... now that's just sad! One day, in a perfect world, we'll all be able to get together.
