Shelbie's Joy School class went to an Alzheimer's Home on Thursday, December 18th to do a Christmas Performance which included a nativity play. Their teacher did all the narration and the kids acted it out. Shelbie was so excited that she got to be Mary and she was just beaming. I was so proud of her and she did so good!

Above is a picture of Shelbie and some of her classmates singing, and do the hand motions, to "Jingle Bells".

This is Shelbie and the baby Jesus in a basket. It was so cute during the narration when her teacher got to part that said, "and she wrapped the babe in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manager..." Shelbie piped up and said,"Wait I'm not done." She was wrapping the baby so carefully that she didn't want her teacher to continue until she was done. When she was finished she motioned to her teacher to continue. Sooo Cute!

Here's Mary and Joseph holding hands and knocking on a innkeepers door.

There's my "Mary" ready to perform.
