We all headed over to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on Tuesday to spend a couple of days taking the kids to Dollywood and Splash Country ( Dollywoods water park). Our first day at Dollywood didn't quite turn out like we had hoped to say the least. We got there at 4 pm hoping to get a few hours of rides in before it closes at 8 pm. Well, we pulled up to the park and it started storming like crazy. We weren't going to give up that quick however so we went ahead and went in thinking that the storm would pass quickly. It never did and all the rides were closed so two hours later we gave up and headed back to the hotel. The kids were really good sports and we promised them that we'd go back the next day. Luckily we were able to get a rain check on all of our tickets since we didn't get to ride anything. The picture below is 7 of our 8 kids and "Aunt TT" in front of the car in the parking lot. We thought that we might as well take a picture to remember our first attempt at Dollywood.
Above is Coral enjoying our rainy couple of hours at Dollywood. When you can have this much fun running around in the rain and playing in the puddles why even go to a theme park. Her face does look kind off funny cause she was in motion, but you get the idea.
